Book Clubs

We run two adult bookclubs which meet every 6 weeks. Our Booka Bookclub meets on a Wednesday night and our Book and a Beer Bookclub on a Thursday night (both starting at 7.30pm). Both groups meet at the Shop, where we discuss our responses to the title we have just read. The Book and a Beer group retire to one of our local pubs to continue the discussion over a well earned drink! Members of each bookclub take it in turns to draw up a shortlist of books for our future reads. All members vote on which book to read. We focus on fiction, but non-fiction can be thrown into the choices too! Bookclub members receive 10% discount off the price of each bookclub read, plus other offers during the year.

We also run a First Thursday Bookclub in conjunction with Moreton Hall School. This meets at the School on the first Thursday of each month, focussing primarily of young adult fiction.
