manifestoWe are an independent bookshop and cafe located in the centre of Oswestry, a thriving market town on the border, where Shropshire meets Wales. Since opening in October 2009, we have quickly established ourselves through the quality of our books, our distinctive cards and gifts and our first class customer service. Our shop has a chilled and relaxed atmosphere with a cafe selling coffee, teas and delicious homemade cakes. We aim to provide that shopping experience you will never be able to buy online!

Booka is owned and run by Carrie and Tim Morris, ably assisted by Jess, Louisa, Rosie & Ruth.  Chloe and Hannah help out on a Saturday, as do Tash and Bronagh when they’re home from college.
