about us...

Booka is a newly established independent bookshop in the centre of the market town of Oswestry.

We have a dedicated and enthusiastic team including an ex-teacher and a librarian. We are working hard to develop and adapt our range of books to meet the needs of our reading community. Our aim is to provide a rich selection of classics and contemporary titles.

We're passionate about books and hope that you find our unique shop an enjoyable experience. To add to that experience, we regularly hold author signings, readings and poetry events in store. Additionally, our book club allows like-mined local people to share their enjoyment of books.
